Lately my shoes have been creatively, stuck in the mud. So I decided to take them off to recharge my creative juices; cool my heels as it were. There’s been so much going on in my world lately. Most of it has nothing to do with pressing the shutter button. It's mostly re-evaluating my life, the lives of my children and of my country going forward. As far as my children, I just pray that they make decisions that will put them in the position of opportunity not compromise. For my country I want the same thing. I want the people of this nation to make a wise choice in the coming election. A level headed choice. Not one made out of anger, selfishness or bigotry. We need to choose someone that will put us all in a position of opportunity instead of compromise. For myself, I just want to be a successful photographer. To be able to feed my family with my vision of the world. At least the way I see it. I want to be ablessing to as many people I come in contact with. I need the drive and determination of the photogs I look up to and admire. I strongly believe that two of my three concerns will certainly come to pass. One of the two; I’m sure of.
